Hey yall. I made a new layout, I liked the last layout, but I don’t know I wanted a new layout, I used the photos from The CW Network 2009 Upfront, which I really like. I didn’t change much other than the layout, but I hope everyone likes it!
Tomorrow I will see if I get the time to upload some scans, I know I have the Teen Vogue issue where Chace is featured, I hope have some more, but I’ll for sure add the Teen Vogue scans (note: I need to scan them first) and I’ll look around to see if there are any photos that aren’t in the gallery yet and I’ll upload them too. Chace Crawford will soon be cutting Footloose on the big screen. So what’s he like on the real-life dance floor?
“Chace has got a lot of upper body stuff going on. He raises the roof a lot,” his Gossip Girl costar Connor Paolo told PEOPLE at a St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital benefit at Manhattan ballroom Capitale Thursday night.
The unique move, he says, is a success. “Come on, anything Chace does will work for him,” Paolo said with a laugh.
The 18-year-old actor – on hiatus from filming – looks forward to hearing more from Crawford about the film, which will be directed by High School Musical’s Kenny Ortega.
“The last time I saw him … we were talking about the film he just finished, which was Twelve. So he and I haven’t talked about this yet. But I’m sure it will be a fun conversation!”
And, in the meantime, Paolo is looking forward to a summer not in the city. “My family grew up out in Long Beach Island in Jersey, which is where I basically grew up. So I’m out there almost every weekend. We’ll just drive out there and kick back at the house,” he says. And maybe get their grooves on.
Chace Crawford is ready to follow the fancy footwork of Kevin Bacon when he begins shooting Paramount’s reboot of the 1984 dance classic Footloose next March. The 23-year-old Gossip Girl star landed the lead after Zac Efron dropped out. “I know Zac and we’re actually friends,” says Crawford. “He’s gotta make the best choice for his career at this point and I have to make the best for mine and luckily it worked out for both of us.” Still, Crawford wasn’t even born when the original premiered in theaters. So is this just an elaborate ruse to win at Six Degrees? Jokes Crawford, “I want my number to be up — my Bacon number.” Crawford won the part after a brutal audition, including dancing and singing, for producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron (Hairspray) and director Kenny Ortega (High School Musical). “It was, like, five hours of the most rigorous tests ever,” says Crawford. “I walked out very confident.” He had a right to be, according to Zadan: “At the end of it, we all sort of looked at each other and said, ‘He’s the guy!’” Crawford may soon have his onscreen dance partner. A Paramount spokesperson confirmed to EW that Dancing With the Stars’ Julianne Hough will screen-test this week. Hough’s recent success as a country music star could give her an advantage. Says Meron, “It’s a much more singing-intensive movie for the female lead.”

Just a day after it was confirmed that Chace Crawford will star in the “Footloose” remake, MTV News caught up with the “Gossip Girl” star to get the scoop on what it’s like to take over for Kevin Bacon.
“Well, I don’t know if I will be [the new Kevin Bacon] or not. It’s a different film,” he said at the CW network’s upfronts in on Thursday. “It’s gonna be great. I met [Kevin Bacon], actually, and it’s gonna be good.”
He jokingly added that during that meeting, Bacon gave the “GG” star his blessing to fill his dancing shoes. “Yes, yes, he brought out this little thing of oil. It was really weird and, like, it just dripped down ever so slightly,” he said. “It was cool.” The most “GG” fans have seen of Crawford dancing is just a little bit of slow-dancing at school parties, so a lot of people are wondering if Crawford has the dancing chops to be in “Footloose.”
“I hope so, right? I got the part,” Crawford said. “I hope they know I can dance. I don’t know. It’s a fun script, and actually stepping out of my shell and doing the dancing thing is probably the most exciting part.”
But Crawford’s fans will have to wait until the film comes out to get a sneak preview of Crawford’s dancing abilities: He’s not giving away any sneak peeks. “I have till March to get ready!,” he said.
